The new T9 Bakkie is powered by a robust 4-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, delivering an impressive 125 kW and 410 Nm of torque. This engine is paired exclusively with an advanced 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, offering driving modes such as Sport, Normal, Eco, and Snow for optimal performance across various conditions.
For off-road enthusiasts, the T9’s 4×4 derivatives come equipped with a BorgWarner part-time 4-wheel-drive system, featuring a low-range transfer case and a rear differential lock. With a ground clearance of 210 mm, the T9 is designed to tackle tough terrains with ease. With a combined fuel economy of 7.8 L/100km for both the 4×2 and 4×4 models, ensuring efficiency alongside power.
In terms of dimensions, the T9 bakkie measures 5,330 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width, and 1,920 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.
